We started out the day with Ashley and I still in the hospital. Jonathon and Jared came for a visit in the morning and Jonathon was so cute with his new little sister. He just loves babies! They came back again after naptime and we left the hospital in time to take part in the Halloween activities. Our first stop after the hospital was my sister Elisabeth's house. That's right, we skipped home and went straight to playing with family. It's possible that that wasn't the wisest decision that I've ever made.Following that, we went to Grandma & Grandpa DeWitt's house for a little family party. Both Jonathon and his cousin Calvin were having costume issues so the picture that we managed to get was a miracle - and very amusing since Calvin was riding Jonathon's horse but didn't want his own costume on.
Next, we headed over to Grandma & Grandpa Oates' house for a little Trick-or-Treating (it's the only other house we could convince Jonathon to go to for trick-or-treating - he was done with the day! It had been a long one.) and picture taking. His cousin Kate was a fairy and Halle was a monkey. They were all so darling!
