Some things about Ashley as a one year old:
*She crawls everywhere, up and down stairs, anywhere she can chase someone and especially on the furniture or over people laying/sitting on the ground
*She loves to eat...almost anything! Especially if it is on someone else's plate. Her favorites are whole apples and cut up grapes.
*She loves animals and animal sounds. My favorite are her dog (arf, arf) and sheep (baaaaa) impressions. She especially loves to pet dogs and cats.
*Her favorite thing is her binky.
*When she is riding in the car, she enjoys looking at the pictures in her animal book and taking of her shoes and socks.
*She loves to laugh and smile!
*She is learning to talk. She says words like apple, pumpkin, dog, dada, mama, drink, bye, and hi. Apple is my favorite because she enunciates it so well!
*She loves music and instruments. Toys with lights and music are great, but she also loves playing and having mommy play the piano.
*She is starting to walk and has taken two or three steps in a row but is still very nervous about the whole thing and sits down. She stands for 10 or 20 seconds at a time though.
*She loves her brother and searches all over the house for him until she finds him in his bed when his nap lasts longer than her's.
*She is a daddy's girl! She goes around the house saying "dadadadada" all day long looking for daddy until him comes home from work. When he is home, she wants to play with, snuggle and hug him all day long.
*Whe she gives hugs (which she does a lot) she snuggles in and pats your back. So adorable!
*Her brother loves her a lot and loves to be with her all day long (hugging her and bugging her).
Ashley opted to play with the tissue paper while her brother thought it was Christmas and played with her new toys...
