I came across the cutest idea for making turkey sugar cookies and I knew Jonathon would love it. So I got everything ready so we could make them a few days before Thanksgiving. This didn't work so I thought for sure we could make them on Thanksgiving Day. I even baked the cookies - and that is as far as we got. So, finally a few days later, I baked some more cookies and we tried again. As I suspected, Jonathon loved it!
After he finished putting the feathers on each cookie he would pull his little pistol from its holster, take aim, and shoot the turkey. The poor things didn't stand a chance. It was hilarious! I don't know where he came up with the idea.
