I can't believe it has been three years already! This past year started really flying by once Ashley was born. A few months ago Jonathon informed me that he was my baby, too. Now, however, he has decided that he is my big boy. I'm pretty sure that I am not ready for this yet. But then, I'm not sure I will ever be ready.
Jonathon is still working on the concept of what it means to be three years old. We kept telling him that on Sunday he was going to be three years old. So, Sunday night he asked me if he was going to be two again tomorrow. He asked me the same thing, if he was two again, this morning. He's not sure he likes not being able to be two again. I'm sure he'll get used to it quickly. Whenever someone says 'happy birthday' or asks how old he is, he just holds up his three little fingers and smiles. It's adorable!

We had the family over for his birthday and he had a GREAT time. He was in heaven! While he hasn't quite grasped the three year old concept, he has definitely grasped the idea that people give you presents for your birthday. He was so excited he couldn't contain himself. We couldn't actually get him wound down and asleep until about midnight.
